Open to women who are new to the community or to the YWCA, the Newcomers Club is designed to help you quickly get settled and feel at home in your new community and make new friends through activities such as wine and cheese evenings and informal playgroups in the park. Membership in the Newcomers Club is limited to 36 months; continue your favorite activities after that as a general member.
If you are applying to the YWCA for the first time, please select the "Newcomers" option on the membership form.
If you are currently a Newcomers Club Member and have been in the Newcomers Club for under 36 months, please renew your membership using the Newcomers Membership renewal form. Not sure if you are still a Newcomer? Please contact the YWCA Darien/Norwalk office at 655-2535.
International Club
Open to YWCA members with international backgrounds or interests, this Club sponsors social and educational gatherings which provide cross-cultural experiences, and supports the unique needs of women who are coming or returning to the USA. International Club membership is open to all YWCA members for an additional fee of just $10 annually.
