The YWCA New Directions program offers computer classes to women trying to enter or re-enter the workforce. Classes are taught by a qualified professional in Microsoft Office applications at the new YWCA Technology Training Center, 49 Old Kings Highway, Darien.
There are 2 class times to choose from weekly, either Tuesday evenings 6pm to 8pm - click here for schedule, or Wednesday mornings 10am - 12pm - click here for schedule.
The YWCA New Directions Support Group is facilitated by a personal life coach with topics related to the job search process, increasing self-confidence, and enhancing life skills (i.e. managing stress, time management, communication, and budgeting, etc.). The support group meets weekly at the YWCA, 49 Old Kings Highway North, Darien, from 12:30pm to 2:30pm on Thursdays.
