Shannon Silsby has spent over 15 years in marketing working primarily in brand management in the packaged goods industry after enjoying time in publishing. She has led the growth of national brands including all® Laundry Detergent, Caress® Soap and Vagisil® while raising four children in Darien. Mrs. Silsby serves on the boards of the Community Cooperative Nursery School (CCNS) in Rowayton and the Royle Elementary School PTO. She also leads her daughter’s Girl Scout Troop and serves on the Darien Girl Scout Service Council. Mrs. Silsby holds a BA in Political Science and Women’s Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from the University of Rochester’s Simon School of Business. She joined the YWCA Darien/Norwalk in 2004 and was elected to its Board of Directors in 2010.
