We have highlighted a few important things to help make this year run as smoothly as possible.
- The deadline for submitting your completed registration form for Fall is October 3rd and for Winter is December 10th. You may register for both Fall and Winter paddle at the same time. If you are interested in Fall only, you may sign up for Fall now and then register in December for Winter. Paddle registration is based on first come, first serve basis.
- Due to the amount of time it takes to create 4 different schedules, the deadline of October 3rd for Fall and December 10th for Winter is firm. No forms will be accepted for Fall paddle after September 30 and December 9 for Winter, whether or not the session is full.
- Registration is on a first come, first served basis. Once a particular session is full, you will be put on the sub list. The men’s sessions and the women’s Monday session are extremely popular so mail your registration ASAP. Emailed forms will not be accepted.
- Please complete all sections of the registration form and include a check made payable to the YWCA Darien/Norwalk. Please include an email address that you check frequently, as email is the primary method of communication amongst players. All checks and forms will be mailed directly to the YWCA.
- You will need to purchase or borrow a paddle and purchase one (1) sleeve of paddle balls. You can buy paddles/ balls at Darien Sport Shop or Sports Authority.
- Paddle courts are located at Weed Beach. It can get cold and windy, so dress accordingly.
