YWCA Winetasters Club 2011-2012

- Winetasters is an exciting way to meet new people, enjoy friends and learn about wine. No previous wine tasting experience is necessary. Here's how it works: on five designated evenings, groups of five couples each gather to taste wines and share appetizers.
- Each of the five couples hosts one of the tastings at their home and provides the wines for that evening per the list of recommended wines provided by the Committee for that date; the other couples bring an appetizer or other dish. The tastings are designed to be both varied, interesting and educational. You must be a current member of the YWCA Darien/Norwalk to participate in the Winetasters Club.
- Winetasters groups are organized over the summer. Every couple that signs up will be grouped with 4 other couples for a total of 10 people. You may also choose to form your own group of 5 couples.

- If you wish to be assigned a group, please fill out the Individual Couple Registration section of the form and remit with the $25 fee.
- If you wish to form your own Winetasters Group please designate ONE person in your group to fill out and send in the Pre-Formed Group Registration section of the form and remit with payment for all couples in your group. The fee is $125 per group of 5 couples, and increases by $25 for each additional couple. Please provide complete addresses, phone numbers and email addresses for all couples.
- Before the first tasting, assuming all couples in your group have paid Club and YWCA membership fees, you will receive by mail your assigned group and hosting dates as well as some basic information about the program and how it works and hard copy tasting notes. These and all future tasting notes and wine lists will be posted to the Winetasters section of the YWCA website two weeks prior to each tasting date. Winetasters participants must login for access.

- April 28, 2012
A group may elect to alternate dates of their choosing or call a substutute couple.
