YWCA Darien/Norwalk Red Carpet Ball Benefit To Be Held March 26th
DARIEN, CT – January 27, 2011 – The YWCA Darien/Norwalk proudly announces this year’s spring benefit dinner dance, The Red Carpet Ball, which will be held at the Country Club of Darien on March 26, 2011. Tickets for the benefit will go on sale starting mid-February at the YWCA Darien/Norwalk website www.ywcadariennorwalk.org or by calling the YW at 203-655-2535 ext. 301. This event has a Hollywood glamour theme which aims to leave guests feeling like a celebrity for the evening. An open bar and dinner are included at the event and guests may choose who they would like seated at their table. Guests can dance to the tunes from movies of all eras and a silent and live auction will be featured. The committee for the benefit includes a number of members of the YWCA Newcomers Club as well as others who have been YWCA members for several years. Sara Parent, Amy Raskopf and Mary Kate Valentine are serving as co-chairs for the event.
