THE YW RACE Against Racism, For Empowering Women

Brookside Rd. Darien, CT
This second annual event will have routes for runners and walkers which will begin and end at Cherry Lawn Park located on Brookside Road in Darien. For runners, the 5-mile race will loop through Darien and Norwalk while walkers can participate with a new shorter 2-mile route. Pre-registration is strongly suggested to confirm your spot.

- 7:15AM: Registration opens
- 8:00AM: Race start
- 9:00AM: Winner’s Recognition Ceremony
- Entry Fee: $30 until midnight April 26th, $40 on race day

All proceeds from The YW Race will go to the YWCA Darien/Norwalk's Community Service Programs. This program is designed to support women in lower Fairfield County across all aspects of the job search process with an individualized approach. Services include classes and tutoring to build computer skills, one-on-one resume writing assistance, and individual job search coaching.
