Director since 2011
A member of the YWCA Darien/Norwalk in 2001, Lisa Firmin has served as the coordinator of the Better Beginnings program since 2007 and as a Parent Awareness Representative since 2008. She was elected to the Board in 2011. She worked as a Bank Officer, Branch Manager, and M&A integration trainer for The Bank of New York prior to marrying, moving to London, and becoming a full time mother to her three children. In addition to her work at the YWCA, Mrs. Firmin volunteers as a bilingual receptionist at Person to Person in Darien. She holds a BA with honors in Spanish and a BS with honors in Psychology from the State University of New York at Albany.
