The YWCA is open Monday through Friday 9am to 4pm. Fridays during the summer (from Memorial Day until Labor Day) our hours are 9am to 1pm.
We follow the Darien schools calendar for inclement weather and other closings. Instructors give advance notice of class cancellations whenever possible. School delays and closures are announced at 6.30am on local cable TV and radios stations. Click here to view the 2010-2011 Darien Public School Calendar.
Our office is at 49 Old Kings Highway North, Darien CT - the white house with the orange door.
From the Merritt Parkway:
Take exit 37 and go SOUTH on Rte. 124 (Mansfield Avenue)
Turn LEFT at four-way stop sign (Sedgwick)
At traffic light (US 1) go straight across
Turn LEFT at stop sign (Old Kings Highway North)
The YWCA is second building on the RIGHT after the shopping center parking lot.
From I-95: (from East)
Take exit 13
Turn LEFT on to Rte. 1 (Boston Post Road)
At Second traffic light turn LEFT on to Brookside Road
You will be facing the YWCA at the bottom of the hill
From I-95: (West)
Take exit 12
Turn LEFT at end of ramp on to Tokeneke Road
Turn RIGHT at traffic light onto US 1 (Boston Post Road)
Turn RIGHT immediately after you go under the train overpass (Mechanic St.)
Follow Mechanic St. past stop sign (you are now on Old Kings Highway North)
